New: AI Commerce catalogue preparation
The AI Agents add-on now includes a dedicated AI Commerce section for ChatGPT product discovery preparation, alongside the existing shopping and merchant agents.
- Catalogue readiness. Required-field checks, item-level issues, search and readiness filters, with direct links to the product editor.
- Product and variant previews. Review discovery data including pricing, availability, images, brand and the actual merchant identity.
- Private feed generation. Download compressed catalogue snapshots; configure daily generation using your store’s scheduler and queue.
- Safer exports. Permission-protected downloads, isolated store data, exclusion of unpublished and restricted trade products, and preservation of the previous successful export if generation fails.
- Honest connection status. Catalogue readiness is separate from provider connection. The panel displays “Awaiting OpenAI connection” until a real integration is available.
Available to new client stores and existing stores with the updated add-on installed, its database migration applied, and merchant details configured. Existing checkout is unchanged.
Not an automatic ChatGPT listing. OpenAI merchant onboarding, product and market eligibility, and feed delivery remain separate. Passing local validation does not establish provider eligibility or guarantee publication.
