A self-hosted store gives you ownership, and somebody still has to keep it running. StoreAdept Care is the optional monthly plan that handles hosting, backups, updates and support, so you can get on with selling.
What Care covers

Everything in Care, plus we monitor the AI merchant-agent digests and act on what they surface. Needs the AI Agents add-on.
What Care does not include
Care keeps the store healthy. It is not a design retainer. Design changes, content edits, new features and custom development are separate, and we say so up front:
- Hourly changes — $40/hour, with an estimate before any work starts.
- Care + Changes — from $195/month, which bundles predictable monthly tweaks with Care.
Cancelling Care stops future billing and does not affect your ownership of the store. The full terms are in our Terms of Service.
Do you need Care?
Not necessarily. If you have your own hosting and a developer you trust, you can run the store yourself. We install it on your cPanel or DirectAdmin hosting and train you to use it. Care is for owners who would rather not think about servers, updates and backups at all.
